Below is a few questions we get asked the most here at Ice Quest about what we offer or what you can do here at Ice Quest.
What are your skating times?

Do we need to book?
As long as you know the start times for the activity you wish to participate in you do not necessarily need to book. For ice skating if you arrive 15 to 10 minutes before the start of a session you will usually be fine to get onto the ice, we do have busy sessions from time to time. We will not exceed 120 people on the ice, so once we have reached 120 skaters we have to close the doors, meaning on occasions you may not be able to skate if we are too busy.
Our Laser Quest arena holds a maximum of 24 people which fills up fast on weekends, you can turn up early before our game start times and hope to find a space in one of our games.
For both activites we always advise customers to book in advance to secure their places as after booking it is first come first served. You can book ice skating online, or over the phone. For Laser Quest please use our contact form, email us, or give us a call.
How much does it cost?
Ice skating is £7 per person for all ages and abilities which gains you access to the ice rink for the duration of the current session and ice skate hire for that session.
Ice Aid hire is seperate to the price of all ice skating and parties and costs £3 per ice aid per session and is for the duration of the session. They are not included with ice skating parties.
Laser Quest is £3.95 for one 20 minute game and £7.25 for 2 20 minute games. Any game after 2 games is £3.30 per game.
Ice Skating and Laser Quest parties are £9.95 per person which includes an activity and half an hour of food lasting 2 and a half hours in total.
Mega parties are £12.95 per person and include 1 game of Laser Quest, an hour or ice skating and half an hour of food (Mega parties are not available at weekends).
Mega Mega parties are £15.95 per person and include 2 games of Laser Quest, an hour or ice skating and half an hour of food. Mega Mega parties are available all week including weekends.
Is skate hire included in the price?
Yes skate hire is included for that session, we have skates in size kids 8 upto 15 adult and plenty for everyone.
Can we bring our own skates?
Yes you may, the price is the same whether you bring your own skates or not but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you like.
What is the minimum age?
For Laser Quest the minimum age is 6 years old due to the large size of the packs and there weight.
Ice skating children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult on the ice. We do allow toddlers on the ice but it is to the parents discretion and risk, the children must have skates on and be able to stand with or without the support of an ice aid or be able to sit and hold them selves steady on a seal.
Do you serve food?
We sure do, we serve hot food including chips, cheese burgers, chicken nuggets, veggie burgers and more. At busy times we may reduce the menu down to hot dogs and chips which can be served from the ice desk. We also have a fully stocked vending machine for those tasty snacks.
I want to book a party, will there be other people with us?
Generally yes, all of our party bookings are during our open sessions for both Laser Quest and Ice skating so the majority of the time you will have other people with you. But this isn’t a bad thing, more people makes it more fun! You can have the Laser Quest arena to yourself for either £140 without food or £195 with food. Ice sessions can be booked outside of opening hours for groups and the session will be open to the public also but less likely to have lots of other people with you on the ice. You can hire the rink to yourself for £600 for 1 hour for upto 100 people.
We have 3 party rooms in total all of which are shared party rooms. Where possible we do try to give each party their own room, however each room can easily cater for upto 24 people or more. During our peak times we do have more than one party in each party room and it makes for a great atmosphere!
